Meaning of 'analemma'
análÄ“mma
Analemma refers to a diagram that shows the position of the sun in sky as seen from a fixed location on earth. The chart records the position of the sun at the same time over the course each day. Over the course of a year, the sun will create the shape of a slightly oblong figure 8 or infinite symbol.
The infinite loop found in an analemma chart, captures the iterative
nature of human-centered design. While rounds of divergent and convergent thinking push and morph the design, everything revolves around human needs and values.
